.........was held at the "Cerere" in Ponte in Valtellina and attracted the customary gang of freeloaders, neerdowells and downright villains. And apart from the teachers there was an excellent turnout of students, friends and family. Thanks to Marino and his staff, who were still laying tables for the following day at 1.00 a.m. while tactfully ignoring the last twenty or so revellers intent on comparing their prizes and discussing the merits of the fifth conditional.
